The Ochopee Post Office

The Ochopee Post Office in Florida, the smallest on in the US.

As we were heading westwards on the Tamiami trails through  the Everglades  in Tampa direction, the Ochopee post office appeared on  the left. Almost missed it, but turned around and came back. It is said to be the smallest post office in the US. The population they are serving is minuscule, but lot of tourists stop by for the Ochopee postal stamp. The sun was  almost setting.

A Pelican  patiently waiting for the fish scraps by the mangroves as the dusk is fast approaching. Soon a whole group of pelicans would join him. . Fisherman is kind and doesn't disappoint.
